Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard will be available for Tuesday's Champions League semi-final clash with Liverpool.
Lampard has missed two games while on compassionate leave because his mother is in hospital with pneumonia.
But his agent said the 29-year-old England international is ready to return for the first leg at Anfield.
"Frank has made himself available after spending the last seven days at the bedside of his sick mother," Steve Kutner said in a statement.
"Although still very ill, her condition has now stabilised. Hopefully there is light at the end of a very dark tunnel."
Lampard has been told by Chelsea boss Avram Grant to take time out of training to spend as long as he needs with his mother Pat.
"I tell the players all the time that football is very important but sometimes there are things that need to be taken care of," Grant said last week.
"This is more important and I understand that."
The midfield star missed the Premier League matches against Wigan and Everton but with Michael Ballack doubtful with a hamstring problem, Grant could start with him against the Reds.
