Eurostar offers direct ski resort services

Eurostar will open ticket sales for its direct ski services from St Pancras International and Ashford International to the French Alps on 16 July.Destinations include Courchevel, La Plagne, Tignes, Méribel and Les Arcs.There will be two direct services a week to Bourg St Maurice, both calling en route at Moûtiers and Aime-La-Plagne. Clients can take an extra item of luggage on board the train at no extra cost. "These services are very popular year on year as our travellers greatly value the seamless travel and their arrival in the stations located high in the French Alps, close to their resorts," said Simon Montague, Eurostar's director of communications.Return fares in Leisure Select class are from £269 return.www.eurostar.com
